Explore SDSU Open House is the one get-to-know SDSU event you definitely don’t want to miss. On March 20, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the SDSU campus will be turned into an informational powerhouse to show you everything SDSU has to offer.
The Explore SDSU information fair offers a variety of activities, info booths, and department faculty meet-and-greets. Nearly every campus organization sets up a booth with information to help you get involved on campus. You can browse through organizations such as the SDSU Advertising Club or Society of Women Engineers. No matter your major or interest, you are sure to find welcoming members and the right fit.
Tours and Open Houses
During Explore SDSU Open House, multiple tours will be offered of popular campus spots, such as the Audiology and Speech Language Clinic and Greek Housing, as well as the SDSU campus and residence halls. Many locations, such as KPBS Broadcasting, will also be holding open houses throughout the day.
Workshops covering topics like living on campus, Associated Students student government, and scholarships and financial aid will also be offered throughout the day. Attend these sessions to get educated about how to make the best of your SDSU experience and take advantage of SDSU’s many resources.
All this only scratches the surface of all the activities offered at Explore SDSU Open House. It’s important to prioritize and plan a schedule so you can make sure you see everything important to you. Check out the Explore SDSU Web site and RSVP if you plan to attend.
