Admissions social media offers more than updates

By now you’ve probably heard how into social media we are at SDSU. It’s popping up in the classroom, social scene, business world, and pretty much everywhere you look. It’s no doubt that students and professionals of all ages can benefit from using social media – whether it’s connecting with friends, interacting with news stories, or keeping up with events around campus.

The newest way the SDSU Office of Admissions is using social media to connect with students is through picture and video posts on Facebook and Twitter. Be sure to follow us so you can see interesting places on campus and other fun picture posts, as well as new video clips where we talk with current students about life at SDSU.

To get started, we headed to Centennial Walkway and asked students about their majors to find out how their programs are helping them make SDSU their own. Up first is a Nutrition major who wants to use her healthy eating knowledge to become an entrepreneur.
