Hello Fellow Aztecs!!

Associated Students 2010

The Associated Students of San Diego State University welcomes you to a fresh new academic year. As $21 million student directed corporation/government, Associated Students (AS) is here to serve the needs of all students on campus. We own and operate eight fully functional facilities on and off campus to maximize the campus communities’ social, recreational and educational experience at SDSU. Some of these facilities include the Aztec Recreation Center (ARC), the Viejas Arena, Mission Bay Aquatic Center and the Aztec Center.

The Associated Students is also the representative governing body of all students attending SDSU. Whenever an issue arises that affects the student body, AS acts in the best interest of the students to ensure that the student voice is heard. Our AS Council is comprised of representatives from across the university from different colleges to a variety of student organizations. With more than 20 different boards and committees offering insight and expertise to the AS Council before important decisions are made. Whatever a students major, career goals or interests are, there is a place in Associated Students for every student!

With that, we challenge every student to take the initiative and go the extra mile to get involved in Associated Students; to make a difference on our campus, community, city and state to foster the growth of a University made up of Minds that Move the World.
